In the proximity of Berlin’s Alexanderplatz, a new downtown district was developed within the scope of the town planning provisions of the city of Berlin. Multiple 11-storey hotels of different quality standards surround the generously laid-out green inner courtyard, which is also partially used by gastronomic facilities. The facades’ design was determined after a private architectural competition limited to entrance by invitation only. The owner decided to build the facade layout made by Mr. Oliver Collignon, one of the prize-winners. GFB signed responsible for the entire planning of this project.
